Looks like it has distronic, I see a surprising amount without it, but maybe not so much for the S model.

I know a rich kid/”entrepreneur” who custom ordered one of these, and checked virtually every box. I think “acoustic glasss” is a rare option.

Better interior sound isolation, as far as I know.  Also probably heavier, more difficult to break.

Should just be laminated glass for the side glass in lieu of tempered.  Acoustic windshields are already pretty common.  But the laminated side glass isn’t as common.  I assume if it’s an option, it’s for the door and rear glass.

It does indeed have distronic, part of the “driver assistance package” that was a $2800 option.

In addition to distronic and a number of other safety features, you get lane keep assist, which will basically steer down the freeway for you. Its a pretty trick system.

Also included is the 360 degree around view camera that works much better than I expected.

Black nappa interior and as a timepiece collector I appreciate the IWC branded clock in the dash somewhat.

Previous owner was 74 years old and ir is "old man spec": I've never seen another with the hood star and chrome door handles.

So far my review is: holy hell this is a lot of car.

Its kind of kindblowing that it is almost a full second faster to 60 mph than my Carrera S was, with room for both kids, the dog, and all their stuff (oh, and the wife).

The massaging drivers seat and active seat bolsters are also fun. The brakes are fantastic.

Only negative i can find at this point is that the multimedia interface feels pretty dated for 2015.

Low mileage too? Sounds like the old man W210 E55 I bought back in the mid oughts. It was even grey.

Yeah, distronic plus will be a fun toy.  What was the prior car?  Does it have carbon fiber interior trim?  I am in a W212 lease right now, and as I have a suspicion I won’t be able to buy it out at market price at lease end in just a few months, I am considering my options.  A 212 AMG would be a fun darkhorse candidate.
